VISION
Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let them say among the nations, "The Lord reigns!" 1 Chronicles 16:31
Our Vision is to see the people of India come into the Kingdom of God through salvation in Jesus Christ.
MISSION
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Matthew 28:19, 20
Our Mission is to Encourage, Equip, and Empower the church in India to fulfill the Great Commission.
To fulfill our mission we will Encourage and Equip pastors, evangelists and lay leaders in India who are actively engaged in the work of the Great Commission, Empowered by the Holy Spirit, sharing the Gospel message, and baptizing & discipling new believers. At the same time, we will be a catalyst for educating and Encouraging the church in the U.S. to be involved with God's work in the harvest fields of India.
JESUS OVER INDIA OPERATIONS: OVERVIEW
Our Mode of Operations: To fulfill our Vision and Mission, J.O.I. will work with and support local grassroots, indigenous missionaries and church planters on the Indian sub-continent that are bearing fruit for the Kingdom of God.
To make a real difference, Jesus Over India's ministry focuses on those ministries in India that are receptive to network with us, integrating and coordinating our efforts to spread the good news of Jesus Christ, and offer hope & healing that combines the following six ministry programs: Development, translation and supply of Christian education and evangelism material. Bible training. Ministry support in mercy ministries, job skills training, academics and health. U.S. based "Hosting" services for visiting pastors and church leaders who are engaged in full-time ministry in India. Educate and inform churches in the U.S. regarding physical and spiritual needs of the churches in India. Intercession and prayer support for our brothers and sisters in India.
"And so I have made it my aim to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build on another man's foundation." (Romans 15:20) We emphasize the importance of working with and for the people who live in the areas least reached by the gospel and in the process, not duplicating what other mission organizations are doing. We believe that our efforts must be concentrated on the rural communities where 80% of the people live in thousands of villages spread out over the vast interior of India. We believe that our efforts must be concentrated on these mostly unreached communities.
